Girls Bedroom Flower Mural
Client: Private Client
The brief
I was commissioned by a private client in Park Slope, Brooklyn, to create a custom floral mural for her daughter’s bedroom, celebrating their move into a new home. The goal was to design something that would grow with her—a piece that would still feel beautiful and relevant years from now. Flowers felt like the perfect choice (as tempting as unicorns might have been!), with lilies and butterflies as must-have elements. I added a mix of fresh floral details to bring the design to life.
This was one of those projects that felt extra special because the daughter played such a big role in the process. She took on the role of “creative director,” giving me the official thumbs-up to proceed with the mock-up—no changes needed! To make it even more personal, I invited her to paint part of a butterfly, turning the mural into a joyful collaboration.
