The Brief
I was approached by a local New York school to create a large, exterior mural that would add color to the space and make it a more inviting and enjoyable space for the children to enjoy. The theme was treehouses, and was to include their daughter and dog.
Before
The large grey wall was anything but inviting, with scribbles and rust creating an environment that didn’t feel loved.
The Process
I used a high quality exterior emulsion paint, applied in many layers to ensure a mural that will last a long time. Nico also color-matched the grey background so we were able to also cover up the rust stains on the wall.
Part way through the process, working in the hot New York sun!
